Hey y’all. I’m not much for making big announcements, but recently I’ve made a decision that feels important enough to warrant it. I’ve spent the last year trying damn near everything in film from screenwriting, to camera & grip, to editing, sound design & coloring—and as of now, I have made the tough but exciting decision to focus primarily on writing & producing. This is a scary thing to say because it feels a little bit like jumping into the ocean after having only had a few days of swimming lessons. But it also feels right because for the first time, I’m making a career decision based on what I want rather than what I think I “should” be doing. I have a passion for the craft of storytelling, and an eye for the practical considerations of bringing them to the screen. I love to write, but I don’t want to spend my career sitting alone at my laptop, either. I aspire to be a collaborator you can count on to develop stories that are unique, emotional, and most of all ENTERTAINING—then follow through 110% on getting them made. Open to all creative and logistical production dept. roles, including Production Coordinator & UPM. For writing sample requests, please reach out directly. Let’s make some truly un-ignorable stuff, y’all. Photo by the awesome @branthehuman

I swear I’m a real person who does real things. I have no proof though because I never take pictures of any of them. Feel free to believe whether I did any of these real things or not during the month of May 1. Finally a pic of me that I don’t hate 2. Chilling after walking up 4,000 ft of steps 3. Yosemite wants to kill us 4. Hmm where could this have possible been taken 5. Be thankful we didn’t call this “birthuation” instead 6. This looks way higher than it is 7. The best song by the best band 8. Screw it vain selfie 9/10. Why you don’t take your shoes off in the public hot spring

I guess I should post some of these set pics huh… Over the past few months I have been slowwwwly learning my way around a film set thanks to some of the great and talented grad fellows at American Film Institute. And I’ve put off posting anything about it for so long that I only have access to BTS photos from 1 of the 5 shoots I was on 😭 so here’s a gallery of the weird and wonderful moments that I do have… 1. Repping the merch 2. The coolest location 3. 7-day b2b shoot vets 4. Harassing fellow camera team members 5. That time I suckered @xxbilodeau30xx into PA’ing with me 6. An unexpected freeloader on the truck I was driving 7. The one pic I have of me actually doing something (pressing record 🤓) 8. That’s a wrap! Woooo! I’ve met and learned from too many awesome people to tag everyone here BUT: Huge thanks to @zachmorrison2go @summofkyle @savgowling @stephblend @eliotgrigo @ciggiesmalls @ashleey.kate for generously mentoring me in The Way Of The Camera when y’all absolutely did not have to @nathan.schiele @kierstenfrison @albarnliz @jleeproduction for being amazing fellow PA’s @beccaedavis @sofaseahorses for being generally awesome producers (AKA hiring me) And reeeeeeeally special thanks to @willow_rose_studios for first bringing me on even though I had literally nothing on my resume The AFI semester is over but hopefully this is only the beginning! Thanks everyone!!!
