We covered single and multi pitch climbing, belayed, seconding, removing protection, placing protection, building belays, setting up rope systems, abseiling and much more.
We visited Craig y Toonau, the Idwal slabs and Cnifion ArĂȘte over the weekend.

A pleasure coaching Steph yesterday morning. She wanted to improve her MTB skills, but didnât have anything specific in mind.
We started off observing riding skills to give us a starting point. Steph was already at a good standard but like a lot of mountain bikers that are self taught, there was room for improvement.
We looked at fine tuning body position, staying centred over the bike, foot position on the pedals, braking technique, drop offs and line choice.
Steph went out riding on her own in the afternoon and got PBâs on everything, quoting âcoaching worksđ€Łâ

We looked at brushing up on movement skills with ice axes and crampons, looking after ourselves on steep ground, using a rope in steep grounds, looked at the avalanche Forecast and assessed the snow stability on the hill and finished off ticking off Ben Nevis to finish in stunning condition..
