“Gisela Colón: Radiant Earth” is now open at the Bruce Museum. ✨ Discover @Gisela_Colon_ ’s luminescent cast plastic sculptures, filled with constellations of iridescent pigments and layers of kaleidoscopic colors.
A Puerto Rican artist based in Los Angeles, Colón has spent over a decade working with engineered materials developed in collaboration with aerospace and scientific communities. She calls her distinctive practice “Organic Minimalism,” visualizing natural forces through luminous color and form.
Curated by Dr. Danielle O’Steen (@neetsod ), the exhibition features eight sculptures, including Colón’s biomorphic Pods and monumental Monoliths, with an earthwork installation developed specifically for the exhibition at the Bruce. Visit the Bruce Museum Tuesday–Sunday, 10am–5pm, to experience “Gisela Colón: Radiant Earth,” on view through June 28, 2026.

Driven by the desire “to touch a thing and not merely see it,” Georges Braque transformed painting through compressed perspectives, layered materials, and surfaces activated with sand, collage, and visible brushwork. From his early Cubist experiments with Pablo Picasso to later works spanning painting and bronze sculpture, “Georges Braque: Tactile Space” traces how Braque pushed art beyond illusion and into lived, physical space.
Featuring works drawn entirely from the @RegisKrampfCollection —many never before exhibited—the exhibition reveals Braque’s lasting influence on how modern and contemporary artists think about
surface, material, and perception.
See it, feel it, and experience “Georges Braque: Tactile Space,” on view through August 2 at the Bruce.

Kids' Health Discovery Day at the Bruce Museum brought curiosity, creativity and a whole lot of learning to life! 🧠✨🧠✨
Families joined Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital and Greenwich Hospital for an afternoon where medicine met discovery. Kids explored hands-on activities throughout the museum's science gallery, from learning how the body works to seeing the connections between healthcare and the world around us. The Teddy Bear Clinic was a big hit, giving kids a chance to care for their favorite stuffed friends alongside the Greenwich and Children’s Hospital team.
A heartfelt thank you to all the families who came out to learn, explore and be inspired, and to the amazing pediatric specialty physicians, nurses and staff who volunteered their time and expertise to make the day so special.
Greenwich Hospital and Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital are also deeply grateful to the Bruce Museum for being such a wonderful partner and host for this unique, hands-on experience.
Last chance to see Ants: Tiny Creatures, Big Lives at the Bruce Museum.
Featuring ant casts that reveal the intricate underground tunnels and chambers built by ants, this exhibition offers a look into the hidden world beneath our feet. Visit before the exhibition closes.
Director @devonchivviscreative has a uniquely personal connection to the story at the heart of @theharvardfive . She not only grew up in one of the original Harvard 5 homes, but this film is also part of her legacy as a creative and architectural preservationist.
We’re excited to announce a very special, limited screening of The Harvard 5 in just a couple of weeks at @brucemuseum , where you can meet and hear from Devon in person. Presented as part of @avontheatrefilmcenter ’s Avon On Tour, the screening will be followed by a live Q&A with Devon.
Come enjoy champagne and pastries, watch the film and hear firsthand how architecture shaped the filmmaker behind it.
