Glazed my heart out today. Jars are such labor intensive bbs, but we did it and hopefully they survive their final firing because I’m rather obsessed with them. I will have these with me @raw_riverside in a few weeks! As always, ya gotta come see me in person bc I just don’t have time to list stuff on my site. 😭
Happy Mother’s Day weekend to all those who celebrate. Been thinking a lot about my Grandma Mae lately. She was such a wonderful woman. Smart, kind, funny, and she loved butterflies. So this one’s for her. 🦋
Like so many people around the world, I was absolutely captivated by the @nasa Artemis II crew and their trip around the moon. I wasn’t quite sure how this mug would turn out but I nearly cried when I saw it come out of glaze fire. Lol ask Micah who I hugged.
Mug details: wheel thrown with @newmexicoclay Chocolate clay, white slip and a mixture of underglazes. Cone 6 oxidation. Zinc free clear on the outside, Black with green jade on the inside.
Heyyyy so it’s been patchy in terms of how often I can throw, trim, decorate, and fire pots but I had a fun market this past weekend, and another coming up @suncatcherbrewing 1-5pm on Sunday, 4/26.
