Here’s a sneak peek at some of the 30+ artworks in “I left the room and it came with me,” the 18th annual exhibition organized by and featuring the art of students in the Brown|RISD Dual Degree program. “I left the room and it came with me” is on view on floors 2 through 4N of the Granoff Center for the Creative Arts until February 15. Please note that the building is currently open only to Brown ID holders and their accompanying guests Monday through Friday, 9 am to 8 pm. For those unable to make it in person, we’ll post full documentation later this semester!

🎓 During their final year in the program, each Brown|RISD Dual Degree student delivers a Capstone Presentation that draws upon their experience at both institutions. All are welcome to join us for this year’s Capstone Presentations on Wednesday May 28th + Thursday the 29th! Presentations take place in Brown’s Lindemann Performing Arts Center and will be livestreamed - see the link in our bio for details 🔗

This Sunday May 12, join Naya Lee Chang (BRDD 2024, Furniture Design, History) as she leads her final public art walking tour! Naya will discuss five of her artworks currently installed across both Brown and RISD’s campuses (including the Dorner Prize-winning installation “Bricked-Over Windows” on the Benefit Street facade of @risdmuseum ). These projects exemplify Naya’s practice of investigating the history and visual idiosyncrasies of sites and creating varied works that remix spaces in delightful and thoughtful ways. Meet at 79 Brown Street this Sunday at 11am! The tour is 45 minutes long.
As we welcome admitted students visiting @risd1877 and @brownu this month, we’ve got a mini-exhibition of work by Brown | RISD Dual Degree students Sara Homma, Daniella Pozo, Avery Guo, Die Hu, and Anay Agarwal on view in the BRDD Lounge.
