I've been thinking about this photo a lot lately. Mostly because it's just super cool. It's from a @brookwright_builders project designed by @_mera_studio_ from 5 or 6 years ago. . But I think it's also because this is how I'm feeling now as I get back to what made Brookwright awesome. Open vistas and clear perspective on where I fit in the world of custom home construction. This project was another winner! A collaboration with @the_mbac for a family proving that you can live with style & grace in a small (ish) space! This was a fun one! A home in Canmore impeccably detailed and designed by the teams @locatiarchitects and @locatiinteriors . Reclaimed wood beams throughout, amazing clients, and awesome views of the mountains everywhere you look made this one really special. We got back to our craftsmanship roots here and self-performed a lot of the exterior carpentry, timber, and finishing. Here's a project performed in collaboration with the absolute pros @falkenreynolds and captured masterfully by @emaphotographi . This was an awesome example of taking existing housing stock in Calgary and creating an entirely new space, all without adding any square footage. Thoughtful millwork details, amazing lighting from @bocci and a perfect place planned for the clients heirloom furniture made this project a delight! . #yycrenovations #yycdesign #architecture #interiordesign #falkenreynolds #brookwright #bocci

This is the project that got Brookwright moving! Originally built by HR Pacific and then lovingly (and majorly) restored by us after the flood in 2013. We were blessed to have such great clients and amazing architects to work with on this one! Here we go! Back to where Brookwright started, with our first full custom home by @bohlincywinskijackson for some lovely clients who were deeply invested in the architectural vision for their home. @bryan6564 and I had the chance to revisit this house recently (almost 10 years later) and we're very pleased with how it has held up.
