Well unfortunately mountain creek didn’t go to plan with a huge crash in finals. Frustrating to end the weekend having had a good run in seeding and good splits up until the crash but happy with my speed, comfort, and being all good after the crash. Couldn’t be more proud of my boys and this @ctchainlinks team. First race of the season and they came out swinging. Both boys moved up, Hudson to the senior series varsity and Charlie to the junior series varsity and they both showed it was right where they should be. Hudson’s race was cold windy and raining but he pushed through for a 5th place of 46! Charlie rode a solid consistent pace for 22nd of 31. The whole @ctchainlinks team had great races and made me proud to coach such focused kids. Thanks to @bubbaburger for the continued support, these kids are burning more burgers than ever!🍔🤘🏻
What a great way to spend my birthday weekend. Reconnecting with the enduro crew, riding with my boys, my dad and friends. Camping like we did for years and getting cheers from Maggie and Evie 🥰. That was perfect.
Back to back race weekends are tough but the Belltown Classic, our home race always makes me happy. @racedayxc buffed out the course and tuned up the jumps while Mother Nature made just enough precipitation for some hero dirt and slippery spots. Most of the @stage1cycling team decided to take over the single speed category and add some animation to the race alongside Coach Miles. Feeling great after @hudsonnablo got his first win of the season and Charlie came back strong for a 5th place finish i again tried to chase down as many people as I could on my SS. @steven.shive and I linked up on lap two and went blow for blow with each other till the finish! Glad to get another win and feel so good this season.
Thank you to everyone including @williamkurtzphoto for coming out last minute and capturing these memories. @airlinecycles for making sure all we have to think about is the suffering 😂 and @johnnydistance and his family/ crew for these great events 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Something just clicked at the season opener of @racedayxc , decided to take the pressure off myself for this year since I will not be able to defend the series overall due to other commitments. Jumped into the single speed race with my teammates @ridetyrant and @trendkill1982 with a goal of seeing how far into the cat1 guys that were starting a few minutes ahead of me I could get.
When the checkers fell I had set power records, won my class and caught and passed all but @steven.shive . Wish I was able to battle my teammate AV but a mechanical took him out on lap3 👎🏻.

This @flowkidsbikes has been through my two boys and multiple other kids and now it’s time for Evie to give it a rip. 🤘🏻
First practice of ‘26 and someone said it was raining but I couldn’t tell! It was all sunshine from these kids!
Looks like this year is going to be the best yet, with the addition of our HYPERLINKS the emphasis on fun has never been greater. Thank you to all the new and returning families who make this team great.😊
Spent a few weeks down south thanks to our friends Jim and Eileen who let us use their home as our own to work and play from. The weather was beautiful, the dirt was dry and the spirits were high!
This was the first time playing DH dad while Hudson worked on his process for this new discipline of Downhill racing and I was amazed at how much is the same while so much is different from the other racing we do. I am excited to watch him and the progression throughout this year as he has really jumped into the deep end of the sport as a Cat1 15/16. The kids he is racing are laying down times that are comparable to pros!
Another first this year was that @gnar1ychar1ie came down and got to experience the southern riding as well as a nice date night with @mrsmagnab . 🥰
Back to reality now and excited to get the MTB season started with @stage1cycling and @ctchainlinks
