“Fox & The Hound” was written for the @slofilmfest , a festival that’s deeply important to me both as a composer and filmmaker.
This piece is rooted in a sense of possibility and wonder. From the beginning, I wanted it to feel like something unfolding in real time with ideas and emotions chasing each other forward, always moving, always becoming.
Hearing it come to life with a full orchestra for the first time was something I won’t forget.

Looking back on this past week, my heart is filled with so much gratitude. The Strawberry screened to a sold out audience at this year’s @slofilmfest , won Best Central Coast Film and the Audience Award, and most importantly, brought movie lovers and filmmakers together with the SLO community.
I want to give a special shout out to @goldenageskye and her team for putting together an engaging 2026 festival. Your hard work does not go unnoticed!
