Both Craig and I’s best childhood memories are camping with our families, so we wanted the same for Sutton. After many years of tent camping we thought it was time to finally get a little trailer as our ā€˜home away from home. Can’t wait for all the memories we make with it 🩷 I know it’s definitely possible to make these memories without a trailer, tenting but we have always dreamt of a little a-frame. #braggcreek #aframetrailer #camping #explorealb

It won’t be long until the mountains start looking like this šŸ‚ šŸ Hoping to get out for some of the changing colours once I get into a routine with babe (if she decides to arrive soon) #banff #larchvalley #fall #freshairandfreedom

Hard reset. Works every time. Parenting is just easier outside. I also feel completely reset when I spend time in nature. Who else agrees? 🌲 šŸ”ļø šŸŽ’ #braggcreek #motherhoodoutdoors #kidswhoexplore #hikingwithkids #gooutdoors

You CAN take your kiddo(s) tenting all by yourself. Is it a lot of work? Yes, but it’s always worth it, and the more you go the more confident and ā€˜easier’ it becomes. I am here to show you it’s still possible to go on adventures, and hopefully make it a little less daunting. Follow along for more inspiration @brookewillson

Premium gear for real life with your dog, designed by a trainer with 30+ years of experience. The Wolf Stride System is built for the way you actually live. Another approach to hands free walking with your doggo. It is a backpack-integrated leash system built for comfort, durability, and freedom of movement, it features reinforced leash channels, rear gear clips, ergonomic padding, and a secure, no-slip fit that stays in place on trails, climbs, and everyday walks @wolfwomanessentials The treat pouch, phone pouch and waste wrangler are also great add ons making walking with your doggo that much easier. I’ve brought their stainless steal dog bowls and feeding placement on a few adventures now and love them. Head to the link in my bio to check out all the gear! If you or someone else you know spends a lot of time hiking, walking or training Doggos send this their way. šŸŽ„: @domcarson #dogwalking #banffnationalpark #dogandowner #handsfreewalking #banff

Year round* now for a lot of us ā˜€ļø The sun is harshhhhhh. If only my younget self could go back and watch this reel. I’ve been a lot better over the last 10ish years, when it comes to applying and reapplying sunscreen whenever outside, though certainly wasn’t always that way. Now it’s sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, long sleeve UV shirts when possible. Gotta start them early. Right?? #kidswhoexplore #braggcreek #hikealberta #explorealberta #albertacanada

THANK YOU @sportchek for having us again this year, for the 49th annual Mother’s Day Run, Walk, & Wheel. This is such a special event. Spending the day with my little family, partaking in a sport that means so much to me. I’ve been a ā€˜runner’ for half my life and couldn’t imagine being without it. Craig, Sutton and I ran the 10km together, cheering on other runners along the way. I loved seeing SO many parents out there pushing their kiddos in strollers. The 10km is sponsored by @adidas šŸƒšŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø The event was SOLD OUT. Weather was perfect. So many activities for kids/families. Music. The vibes were vibin’. I loved seeing so many friends, family, along with community members at the event and along the route cheering. Huge thanks to all the volunteers. We will be back! Maybe next year, for the 50th anniversary, Sutton will be ready for the 1km kids race 🄺 #mothersday #calgary #YYC #runcalgary #mothersday

I’ve had a lot of titles and jobs in my lifetime though ā€˜Mother’ has been the most special and rewarding one. I wake up every singe day feelin’ grateful for this little life of mine. Being a mama to two fur babies and a beautiful little girl, with a love for adventure already. So many people used to tell me ā€˜If you think life is good, just wait till you become a Mom’ and now I get it. The love that pours from these three is. Thanks Sutton for changing me in the best of ways šŸ«¶šŸ¼ I hope all you mama’s out there feel the love not only this weekend, though every day. Craig, Sutton and I are heading to Calgary for the Sportchek Mother’s Day Run (hence posting today), and I can’t wait to spend quality time together, taking part in a sport that means so much to me. Being surrounded by other mama’s and their family and friends. Thanks to all of you for being here and the support for this little fam of mine. I love being a Mom and now sharing that journey with all of you. šŸ“ø: @domcarson Edited by yours truly šŸ™‹šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø #mothersday #albertamom #momanddaughter #firsttimemom #motherhoodoutdoors

I said what I said 🫣 Also just being respectful in general of those around you at a campground or wherever your camping adventures take you this Summer (backcountry, crown land). If you are going to play music, be mindful of the volume level (no matter the time of day). Respecting quiet hours. Whispering if you’re gonna stay up later. Etc. This past weekend Sutton and I tented at a campground and I was kept awake until almost 2am thanks to a couple folks in the site beside us who decided to stay up, drinking, talking extremely loudly to one another. Luckily I had a sound machine to try to drown out some of the noise for Sutton (she seemed to just be out cold anyways) but man oh man it drove me bonkers. #camping #mabellake #hellobc #trailercamping #britishcolumbiacanada
