Em, Matt, and I have worked on this song in bits and pieces since 2023, and I couldn’t be more proud of this song and its contribution to such a beautiful project. Emily you are a once in a lifetime artist and I’m so lucky we get to create together!

EVERYONE GO STREAM
I’ve always had a complicated relationship with being a multi-hyphenate. We love the idea of it, but tend to question it in practice, like doing many things means you must be spread too thin or haven’t found success in a singular “thing”. I’ve found the opposite. When you commit deeply to one craft, that care and precision usually carries into everything else.
The way I see it, there is just so much creativity inside of me that I might burst if I can’t express it. Music is of course my constant, but it’s not the only outlet.
We live in a world where you can direct a global campaign, DJ a rave at night, act on set the next morning, then spend the evening listening to final mixes for an album you’ve been producing and engineering for months. And sometimes that also means painting tarps, writing on Substack, line-dancing, interior design, or justifying an AMC Stubs membership. I know this world to be true, because I live it and breathe it.
So yes, I sing, I write, I produce, I engineer, I direct, I shoot, I edit, I design, I DJ, I code, and I make a very sexy, very organized Figma deck (for my girls that like to get nasssty).
