Walkthrough video LITTLE GHETTO BOY In Mounir Eddib’s first solo exhibition in the Netherlands, Little Ghetto Boy, the artist reimagines his own lived experience of growing up in a working-class neighborhood in the former coal-mining town of Genk (Limburg, Belgium). Inspired as a young boy by rappers such as Tupac, he now reworks these transatlantic cultural influences within his artistic practice. Little Ghetto Boy is the title of a single by American soul legend Donny Hathaway (1945–1979). Learn more via the link below 🔗 __ LITTLE GHETTO BOY by Mounir Eddib On view until May 24th Galerie Ron Mandos, Prinsengracht 282, Amsterdam __ Video by Jaar and Dag Media @broer #LITTLEGHETTOBOY #MounirEddib #GalerieRonMandos #artreel

Open Now: Exhibitions by Atelier van Lieshout and Mounir Eddib Galerie Ron Mandos is pleased to present two new exhibitions: ‘Little Ghetto Boy’ by Mounir Eddib and ‘Nikè’ by Atelier Van Lieshout. Following a period focused on photography, the gallery now introduces a new installation across the space, bringing together sculpture, painting, and large-scale works. Both presentations occupy distinct parts of the gallery, each with its own approach, materials, and visual language. The exhibitions will be on view until May 24, 2026. Mounir Eddib presents ‘Little Ghetto Boy’, his first solo exhibition in the Netherlands. Through painting, sculpture, and installation, Eddib draws from his upbringing in Genk to reflect on migration, identity, and everyday life within working-class communities. Atelier Van Lieshout presents ‘Nikè’, a new body of sculptural works that reflect on strength, failure, and the role of fate. Using industrial materials, the works take the form of structures and objects that explore systems of power, control, and survival. Learn more about the exhibitons via the link in bio. 🔗 — Nikè | Atelier van Lieshout Little Ghetto Boy | Mounir Eddib Exhibitions on view until May 24, 2026 Galerie Ron Mandos, Prinsengracht 282, Amsterdam — Installation views by Jonathan de Waart @atelier_van_lieshout @broer #GalerieRonMandos #MounirEddib #AtelierVanLieshout

Surrounded by Campine heathlands, the picturesque village of “Genck” was a renowned station d’artistes in the Late Romantic period of 1840–1930. Numerous artists visited this creative colony to paint the landscape en plein air. Emile Van Doren (1865–1949) played a central role in this movement, and today his villa showcases his work and that of his contemporaries as a public museum with its own collection. @emile_van_dorenmuseum Photos by Tristan Meers and Stefanie Schaut
