It's not pedal related, but if you love music and movies, you need to include @revolutionspermovie among your podcast listens. My Patreon-exclusive episode goes live this Sunday, wherein me and @chrisslusarenko chat about the incredible @joepera episode Joe Pera Reads You the Church Announcements. One of the best quarter-hours of television ever. I, um, am not the most compelling speaker of words and thoughts, but Chris is a blast to talk to, and to listen to, and if you love Joe Pera, the Who, or just music in general, you might dig this episode.

Here's that tutorial for the Arduino-based Brute Force Tremolo guitar amp. This was my first attempt at a tutorial, so it's a bit of a mess, but hopefully it's clear enough to guide you through making your own. This is a lengthy video for Instagram (5 minutes!), so you can go to /bruteforcetremolo (direct link on profile page) to watch the Youtube video along with text instructions.
Not sure how many folks out there are longing for this, but for the few that are, I hope you enjoy it, and let me know if you have any questions!

Tremendous solo set from @bobmouldmusic last night at the @40wattathens . Tore through a great selection of solo, Husker, and Sugar songs, kicking ass like he was fronting a power trio with an invisible rhythm section. It's amazing how incredible he made classics like I Apologize and Celebrated Summer sound with just his blaring electric, and it's a testament to how well-constructed his songs are. Amazing. @turfballer opened with a fantastic solo set, equally skilled at maintaining the rock sans rhythm section, with selective and tasteful use of a looper to fill out the sonic space. Awesome to see these two, it was one of my favorite shows of the year, and possibly into next year too!
Porchfest memories. @normaltownsoundmachine putting on a great set. Trycoh being the best on Cleveland Ave (or any Avenue, for that matter). And so many folks gathered to watch @visionvideoband that the band couldn't even be seen! So I left. Sorry. Also, forgot to get a pic of Brown Dwarf. They were also great. The rhythm section looked familiar.

Ending the night with a reverse Porchfest: sitting on my own porch and enjoying @giantdayofficial 's album as it plays from within my house. Good stuff.
Great ending to a great set, as @jaydomgon and the Guilty Pleasures were joined by @franznicolay of @theholdsteady for a cover of the @steveforbert classic "Romeo's Tune."
Can't even express how much I loved seeing these four friends on stage tonight, much less joined by the talented Franz Nicolay. I would've recorded more of the set, but I was having too damn good of a time just watching it!

OUT NOW!!! John Britt (Cartoon Network) stops by again for a sugar-rushed look at the incredible Joe Pera Talks With You episode ‘Joe Pera Reads You The Church Announcements.’ We talk about The Who’s Baba O’Reilly, discovering an amazing song for the first time, my Yes ‘Roundabout’ story, the heart of Pera & how they pulled off the use of music in this show.
Break out the ice cream and jump on the couch, everyone! And thanks for supporting the show...it means a lot! Patreon.com/revolutionspermovie
Premiere of the fantastic @fiveeightathens documentary Weirdo, impeccably directed and edited by @marcpilvinsky . Followed by an equally impeccable set from Five Eight. Wonderful film, highly recommended, even if you aren't yet familiar with the band or their rags-to-less-soiled-rags story. Marc put years of work, thought, care and love into this film, and it shows. @fiveeightweirdo@cineathens
