Still finding the words... but I’ll start here 🥹🫶
Over the weekend, I was crowned Miss New Zealand 2025 and my heart is so full.
This is a moment I’ve dreamt of, worked incredibly hard for, prayed over, and poured so much of myself into. To now stand here, representing Aotearoa with a crown on my head and the support of so many behind me, I don’t take it lightly.
Thank you to the
@missnewzealandpageant organisation for giving us a space to grow, to build resilience, to be seen, to speak with purpose, and to be celebrated as strong women. To the judges, thank you for recognising my heart and my hard work. Thank you for trusting me with the honour of continuing this beautiful legacy.
To
@sammi.anni , Miss New Zealand 2024, I’m so grateful for the kindness, grace, and strength you’ve shown as our reigning queen. I have so much respect and admiration for you, and I’m so honoured to share this special moment with you. I promise to carry this crown forward with authenticity, love, and kindness.
To all the incredible contestants, each of you brought something uniquely powerful to the stage and to this journey. I see you, I admire you, and I’ll be cheering for you always.
To my whānau, sponsors, friends, and community, thank you for lifting me up. For believing in me long before the final crowning moment. This title belongs to all of us. Every kind word, every prayer, every silent hope, it all carried me here. I couldn’t have done this without you.
Later this year, I’ll be travelling to Japan to represent New Zealand at
@missinternationalofficial and that still feels surreal to say. I’ve looked up to this pageant for so many years, and to now be part of this international sisterhood is a dream I will never take for granted.
I’m stepping into this chapter with both feet planted firmly in who I am. Not perfect, but real. Guided by faith, driven by purpose, and surrounded by so much aroha.
Ngā mihi nui Aotearoa
With all my heart, thank you 🇳🇿✨
