We love seeing the next generation of creatives exploring the story of British wool, and this collaboration between @jemsox1970 and @nottinghamtrentuni students does exactly that. The project brought together fashion photography, styling and storytelling to showcase wool in a fresh, modern and creative way, highlighting the versatility, texture and heritage behind natural fibres. A panel of judges selected one winner and five runners-up based on creativity, brand alignment, and interpretation of the brief. Field to Fashion: From Sheep to the Clothes You Wear Ever wondered where your clothes really come from? Step into the journey of British wool at this exciting new exhibition @derbymuseums Field to Fashion explores the incredible transformation of raw British fleece — from sheep on the farm, through fibre processing, to the garments we wear every day. The exhibition also highlights the heritage of @johnsmedleyknitwear , crafting knitwear in Derbyshire since 1784, alongside inspiring work from students @dmuleicester and @derbycollegegroup , plus artists, designers and makers bringing the story of wool to life.
