Great to see Great Western Air Ambulance Charity and Ford Motor Company at Willow Brook Shopping Centre raising money for a fantastic cause 🚑
Take a test drive or complete a survey and Ford donates £30 to GWAAC. Simple idea, huge impact. Charities like this need all the support they can get right now.

Grabbed a few gratuitous dronie shots with the DJI Neo 2 before today’s second Drone Business Brief session kicked off. Still genuinely love this little aircraft — small, simple, and just good fun to fly. 🚁
The session itself went brilliantly too. Great seeing someone leave with more confidence in their flying, a better understanding of settings, and a clearer idea of how to shape footage around their own vision and style. Glad I could help. 😊

The first ever Drone Business Brief session is officially in the books — and honestly, what a brilliant start.
Seeing someone come in with genuine drive, ambition, questions, ideas, and a real hunger to build something of their own was seriously refreshing. We covered the realities of running a drone business, avoiding expensive mistakes, building confidence, pricing, clients, mindset, and the stuff nobody really tells you when you start out.
There’s something genuinely exciting about helping someone move from “I’ve got an idea” to “I actually think I can do this.”
Entrepreneurial spirit is definitely still alive — and I’m all for it.
If you’re looking to start in the drone industry, level up what you already do, or simply want honest guidance from someone who’s built a real-world drone business over the last 12+ years, book your session through the link in bio 🚁

Yesterday I added the 1,000th location pin to our Google Maps project log. 🚁
For over 12 years, I’ve logged every place we’ve flown for clients — partly to keep track, partly to look back and reminisce about all the incredible projects we’ve been trusted to be part of. That works out at around 83 locations every year.
What started as aerial photography and filming became so much more than that. I’ve seen places I’d never normally visit, learned about industries I knew nothing about, met an unbelievable number of great people, and somehow my curiosity still hasn’t slowed down.
Every project matters to me. Whether it’s a roof survey, an indie film, a broadcast feature, or something completely unexpected, I always try to translate the client’s story into visuals that actually mean something.
I genuinely love what I do, and I hope that passion comes across in the work and to the people I meet along the way. Here’s to the next 1,000 locations.

Sunrise at the new flagship University of Bristol Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus — and even a seagull decided to swing by for the shot. 🌅
A smooth pull-back revealing just how massive the building really is. Big fan of the full glass façade too — catches the morning light beautifully and gives the whole place a really modern feel from above. 🚁

You don’t even need to see the whole bridge for it to feel impressive. 🌉
Just one pillar of the Severn Bridge, holding the suspension cables, is enough to remind you how incredible engineering really is. Most people just see a structure — but behind it is years of calculation, design, planning and construction.
There’s so much around us that we quietly take for granted every day. I’m guilty of it too. Sometimes it’s worth stopping and properly looking. 🚁

Anyone up for chess? ♟️
A top-down black and white drone shot of a coach depot that somehow ended up looking like a giant game board from above. Funny how ordinary places become something completely different with the right perspective.

Remember the roof survey from yesterday? After wrapping up, I still had a bit of battery left — and I always try to use those last few minutes to capture something purely for the enjoyment of it. 🚁
This time it was the incredible green tree at The Circus in Bath. It’s been photographed countless times from the ground and the air, but that’s what makes it such a brilliant subject… there are endless ways to frame and reinterpret it.
Sometimes the bonus shots end up being the favourites.

Indoor shoot today — just a small add-on for a client, but sometimes those little extra touches are what keep content feeling fresh and interesting. 🚁
Loving the DJI Neo 2 for projects like this. Small, nimble, easy to work with indoors, and still delivers surprisingly solid footage. Definitely becoming a very handy tool to have in the kit.

A sunset from a couple of years ago near The Newt… and still one of those places that sticks in my mind. 🌅
Did some mapping work there a long time ago and would genuinely love to head back for some updated aerial shots. It’s one of those rare locations that just feels peaceful — the kind of place where you can switch off, slow down, and think about absolutely nothing for a while. 🚁

Still putting the DJI Avata 360 through its paces… and it’s finally starting to click in my head how powerful this thing actually is. 🚁
The drone itself? Love it!!!! 🥰
The DJI Studio app? Let’s just say… it still needs some work from a UI and workflow perspective. Some parts make total sense, others feel oddly limiting — especially compared to what the Insta360 Studio app can already do. Hopefully DJI keeps developing it, because the potential here is massive.
Anyway — here’s a little fly-through over the Ashton Gate pitch. Felt seriously lucky to be allowed to fly inside the stadium, and this clip perfectly shows what this drone is all about:
One flight. Unlimited reframing possibilities afterwards.
That part genuinely feels crazy. More test footage from this session coming soon.

Behind the scenes of a James Bond passion project — but with a drone twist. 🎬🚁
Captured an indoor aerial shot using the DJI Neo 2 for @bwfilm_ ’s 007 channel (@007BondinFocus ), during a 1-hour session at The Studio Barn ( @thestudiobarnuk ).
Great team effort with @timshapcott , @rosstigram on main camera, and some BTS capture along the way. Massive shout to James Sykes for creating such a versatile space — it’s an incredible location for film work of all kinds.
Love being part of creative projects like this.
