Today is five years since we met and here you can see the selfie I took of us outside the Scientology center hours before @mactara_ surprise proposed to me outside of the RILO KILEY concert, when a crowd of people gathered around and started cheering and mac spiked the empty ring box and jumped into my arms like she was doing the Lambeau Leap. You can also see photos from two days later when I reverse proposed to HER at the Waxahatchee / Willie Nelson concert. Also some other pictures from the five years on and off and so very back on. Girl math says it’s our… three year anniversary? We don’t really know! But we’re getting married! Last shot is the first pic I ever took of her on October 10th 2020 (our second date when she asked to try on my mask and that’s how I knew we were gonna be daring and SMOOCH). I love my wife!!!
I am so pissed that my friend Sarah has breast cancer I don’t even know what to say. She hates this kind of attention she would rather be lovingly crafting a big queer space and filling our lives with friendship behind the scenes and behind the DJ booth but instead she has to watch us all panic online!!! It’s bullshit!!!!!! Just give her some money until I figure out something better to say beyond goddamnit. Link in my bio goddamnit goddamnit

🌈 Scenes from Big Queer Ball, May 30 — a night radiating with joy, movement, expression, and radical love. Together, we raised nearly $4,000 to support @sun__seekermke in their mission to fund a crisis response van for trans folks in our city.
