The smiles at the start line, the shared silence on the road, the cheers at the finish â things that turn strangers into friends.
At Bright Midnight, youâre never truly alone. Every rider is part of a community that lifts you up, carries you forward and celebrates your journey. Friendships born in the midnight light last far beyond the miles.
Introducing Batch No. 2 of our Bright Midnight curated community photo collection. 25 riders captured their experience and journey from 25 disposable cameras, as they bike-packed 1,100k across Norway in July, all fuelled by STYRKR. Have a look through to see some of our riders highlight moments.
Weâll be back in Tolga next year for round four, get ready!
Norway is calling.
Registration is now open for @brightmidnight.cc 2026. 1,100 km of Norwayâs finest roads, trails, and scenery, all packed into one unforgettable race.
This year, Bright Midnight is doing things differently. More than just a race, itâs always been about creating an inspiring route designed to draw new riders into the world of ultra racing. For 2026, the event is offering both Menâs and Womenâs tickets, with the goal of encouraging greater female participation in the sport.
Seasoned bikepacker and R&D rider @samisauri not only raced Bright Midnight last year, but also teamed up with Routemaster @justin.and.bikes to scout and test the 2025 edition. With both of these minds shaping the course, you know youâre in for something special.
This is your chance to ride through the landscapes that have shaped riders like Sami and Justinas: wild, raw, and unlike anywhere else.
Will we see you in Norway?

What an incredible collection of images from Bright Midnight riders point of view! 𤊠This year a 1,100 km self-supported bikepacking adventure across Norway had a little spice.
As part of the fun, 25 riders were handed disposable cameras to capture their favourite moments along the route. Nineteen cameras found their way back, rolls developed and scans complete â such a brilliant window into the journey! đľđť
This project came to life with the support of our partner @styrkr.uk , who kept everyone fueled with their energy bars, gels, and drink mixes.

Riding Bikes in the land of the midnight sunâ
â
brightmidnight.cc is the brainchild of R&D rider @justin.and.bikes â . Officially a race, The Bright Midnight is so much more. Itâs a journey through a landscape rarely touched by bike tyres, a vast expanse of fjords, green valleys, and endless stretches of perfect gravel.â
â
At 1,100 km long, it presents a true challenge for anyone who rolls off the start line. Itâs the kind of ride that leaves you wanting more, to push yourself a little further, to keep the stoke high, and to chase that sense of freedom only a ride like this can bring.â
â
Watching the 2025 edition come to a close, weâre certain this is one event thatâll quickly be added to the "must-ride" list.â

The Bright Midnight is a special project in many ways, it combines quite a few experiences: nature and people. This years route was possible because of the kindness of local Norwegian farmers who welcomed us across their land. Thank you for being such an essential part of this journey!
Special shoutout to @tunnbrottet , where riders could not only pass through but also discover a hidden gem full of activities and cozy lodging. Maybe next year, itâll be more than a stop â maybe a place to stay a little longer? đ
đ¸ @ospreyimagery & @nils_laengner
We want to give a big thanks to @sj_norge for making this yearâs Bright Midnight journey smooth and stress-free. đ
âŁ
Every rider â and every bike â made it on board without a hitch and the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. It might sound like a small detail, but when youâre traveling hundreds of kilometers to the starting line, that kind of support makes a huge difference. đ
âŁ
Weâre grateful for this collaboration and proud to have partners who understand what adventure means.

Strong, stubborn and often seen in the middle of nowhere at 3am. The line between trolls and ultracyclists is thin.
Both avoid shower
Both live in the wilderness
Both grow stronger the worse the weather gets
But there is a difference:
Trolls turn to stone when the sun rises.
