Waking up with eastern light, a principal bedroom in the making….

A favourite feature beginning to emerge.
The curved brickwork leading to the entrance is now in and the @krausebricks are every bit as beautiful as we hoped.
Soft lines, texture, and craftsmanship doing the talking here.
First bricks, first real glimpse of what this home will become.
I’ve had my eye on these @krausebricks for a long time. There’s something about their texture and tone that brings instant character and depth. Seeing them finally go into our own build is a pretty special moment.
Really appreciate the craftsmanship and care from @broskibrickandblock going into this, it shows in every line. Looking forward to seeing the walls rise from here.

Steel works in - A big step in just one day
Top: the vision. Bottom: the start of something special.
The raised living room will open onto full-height @vitrocsaaustralia (sliding) windows - minimal, architectural, and designed to soak up the north-facing light. It’s shaping up to be the showstopper we hoped for.
With (neighboring) gardens on all sides, it’s private, open and made to feel like a retreat.

Returning to the front facade.
The earlier render was only indicative; this one gives a clearer sense of the materials: the depth of the Krause ghost empress bricks contrasted with the lines of James Hardie oblique cladding.
Can’t wait to see the real thing!

A big milestone on site!
The slab is poured and the (very very solid) base is ready for the next stage to rise.
A big thank you to the team from @unlimited_concrete for a big day of work. Looking good!

Slab pour week! 🤞🤞🤞
It’s been all about what’s below ground lately, not much to see, but plenty happening! The foundations are taking shape and the scale is the house is starting to show.

If you’ve ever wondered how a pool gets installed… this is it.
Craned in before the slab — this video says it all about why you start with the pool.
Thanks to the crew for a millimetre-precise drop!

Permit approved - the first glimpse revealed!
After months of sketching and planning, the build is about to begin.
Thanks to @studiohals for the intelligent design balancing light, space, flow and so much more!
Looking forward to @highlevelrenovations bringing it to life!
