There is a particular kind of magic that happens when women lead. As we reflect on the brilliance of Milan Design Week, we are constantly drawn back to the “Queens“ who have shaped the Milan landscape of modern design with such fierce vision and grace. They are not just gatekeepers, they are the ultimate curators and mentors. Rossana Orlandi, the ultimate talent scout; Gilda Bojardi, the visionary who basically invented Fuorisalone; Nina Yashar, the curator of dreams at Nilufar; and Ernesta Del Cogliano, the heart and soul of the 5VIE district. These women haven’t just participated in the industry: they’ve built the stages we all stand on, consistently championing emerging artists and giving new voices a platform to be heard. Their legacy of bold, personality-driven design is our north star. As a women-led studio, we find a deep resonance in their ability to blend historic preservation with avant-garde curation. It’s about more than just aesthetics; it’s about the narrative, the texture, and the courage to be unmistakable. So many thanks to these trailblazers for showing us how to lead with both heart and precision. It’s a challenge and a thrill to even attempt to channel that depth of spirit into every home we touch.
