Thrilled to share I'll be attending West Coast Craft in San Fransisco next month! @westcoastcraft
My sculptures and I will be traveling down to SF for the weekend of June 10th/11th. This event is free to attend and features over 200 artists and craftspeople coming together to share their art. So excited, hope to see you there!
Hi, I’m Nicole
I don’t show my face on here much but here is a special appearance. 😘
I am currently in Portland but lived in LA and all over Southern California for 15 years. I miss it everyday. My preference is to be baking (rotting) in the sun, close to water. I eat three carrots (almost) every day (adult size only). I love interiors. My husband and I have been renovating a 1940s cottage for the last two years and are about to begin the last phase. I feel most alive when taking on big projects with other creatives. The first 10 years of my career were spent working in corporate and startups, wearing too many hats to count (hi @parachutehome , love u forever.) I miss the commraedaerie the most. Now I’m a full time artist and interior stylist, still wearing too many hats to count but I wouldn’t have it any other way. My default Spotify radio is The War on Drugs. I will always say hi to your dog. If you’d like to know something, just ask, I’m an open book and love connecting.
Stria No. 1–5
Hand-built in speckled clay, each piece shaped by the same repeated gesture, a ridge pulled, a wall compressed. No two are exactly alike. Unglazed and raw exterior with a watertight glazed interior, they hold light the way stone does.

Our new lamps in the Studio room by @niknikstudio ! One of our dreams from the start of Sosta three years ago was for every piece of this place to carry a story. Connecting with local artists over the years has made this dream come truer and truer, piece by piece. This winter we were so lucky to work with three Portland artists to replace the lamps in all three rooms with hand made lighting. Come for your spring stay and see!
Opening my home studio for the first time. Seconds will be for sale, experimental pieces that didn’t make the cut, quiet failures that still need a good home. Drop by, have a drink and take something home.
Saturday March 21
2pm-5pm

One of Desert Design Week’s longtime creatives returns to the spring lineup. @niknikstudio has been part of DDW since the very beginning, and it’s always great to have her pieces in the mix. Sculptural, organic, and beautifully tactile, her work is both art and functional object and is always a favorite.
