Firstly I wanna give a huge shout out to my family @_houseofdiesel_ for trusting me with this title. It’s nothing I take lightly and I can’t wait to see where we continue to grow moving forward. I love y’all so much, pump the gas ⛽️
Big congratulations to my niece @mahiatheoracle and @kikihousefuria for bringing naarm back to its roots with such a fab function ❤️ The world is your oyster my niece ✨
Lastly I wanna say thank you to my sister @quinnuncut for making me look like a dream come true. Not only did she style me she also made every item of clothing from scratch. You’re one of a kind sis, fashion was always in the hands of the dolls 💋
A moment of vulnerability: As black people especially black femmes so much of our identity is tied to our hair. Believe it or not i held back posting these because seeing myself with short hair in that context was challenging. A challenge i knew id face when i first shaved my head.
Despite all this I know now that femininity is what you make it, this reality is ours to command and only ours! Short or long hair, a bad bitch gonna be one regardless! Had to remind myself and now I’m posting these so yall see it too! 🙂↕️
