Talking (and trying) Sculptra - a biostimulator which seems to be the beauty buzzword du jour (despite being far from new!). As wonderful Dr Ash @thesoniclinic explains, Sculptra doesnāt āfillā but works more on remodelling, and differs to skin boosters like Profhilo and polynucleotides which primarily improve skin surface quality.
Downtime is next to nothing (a little swelling/possible bruising). The only drawback is remembering to massage multiple times a day after each treatment which is a must to avoid complications. Speaking of which, Iād only ever see a practitioner experienced in biostimulators as it is technique-sensitive, and skill really affects the outcome. Dr Ash is incredible!!
Results are purposefully subtle, and so far I feel tighter and look less gaunt, though Iām excited to see my āafterā pics in 6 weeks time. Will report back! Any questions, ask away.

What a brilliant chat I had with @bridgetmarch on the podcast ā one of the UKās most loved (and talented) beauty editors.
We talked about journalism and ambition (including the dreaded comparison culture) but also skincare, injectables, hair, make-up, and a whole host of brand and product recommendations.
Thank you so much, Bridget, for being so generous with your thoughts, honesty, and recommendations.
Fi and I LOVED this episode. It was like a coffee morning and a good natter with a great friend.
