Meet Bridget Ryan Bridget Ryan is a dancer, trauma-sensitive yoga instructor, and arts administrator based in Boulder, CO. She holds a degree in Dance and International Studies from Denison University and has worked with choreographers including Molly Shanahan, Sandra Mathern-Smith, Michael J. Morris, Brandon Welch, Celia Perarnaud, Momar Ndiaye, and Julie Fox. Bridget is curious about dance as a practice of holding multiplicities, cultivating presence and connection (with the earth, space, others, self), and expanding possibility. She currently dances with Wild Heart Dance and serves as the company's Executive Director, in addition to making her own work. She finds daily joy in the way that her body experiences and responds to life. "This is my 5th season with Wild Heart Dance. I’m currently most inspired by the natural world. I’m fascinated by the earth’s inherent intelligence, its raw power, the sense of beauty and scale that continually shifts and renews itself, and the way the human body reflects that. I love that Wild Heart Dance invites us as dancers into more intimacy, vulnerability, and connection with ourselves and each other. There's a rigor underlying every aspect of our work and the rehearsal process, and it's a very satisfying, full-body, full-heart experience."

A sandy duet with the land to re-learn that I must stay porous for life to flow through! Also known as: I genuinely and fiercely love my grief and the way grief requires full presence and attention!

Boulder Yoga Studio opens this Saturday above Lucky’s Bakehouse at 3990 Broadway, and there’s something different about this space. It’s understated. It’s teacher-forward. It feels like the kind of studio where you can simply show up and practice — without performance or pretense. Saturday’s opening class is sold out, but there are still spots for Sunday Service with Steph Woods at 9:15am, along with classes throughout the week we’re genuinely excited about. Kaiut, Vinyasa, breathwork, sound baths — all taught by some of Boulder’s most respected teachers, now with a home that supports their unique offerings so they can better support their students. We’d really love to see you during opening week. Book through the Boulder Yoga Studio website or the link in our bio.

Orienting my being towards curiosity (always); towards meeting the unknown with reverence and deep trust; and towards holding myself and all of my parts with tenderness. Also known as: moving unhurriedly and gently this season!

Introducing @bridget_ryan13 AND a DONATION BASED YOGA CLASS 😁♥️🌟 We’re beyond excited to have Bridget teaching at Boulder Yoga Studio. If you know her, you already know why. If you don’t, you’re about to find out! Bridget brings a trauma-sensitive approach rooted in 15+ years of movement practice, from dance to yoga. She’s an E-RYT 200 trained through Soulwork and The Embody Lab, and her classes are an invitation to come home to your body with curiosity and compassion. She weaves somatic principles into every class, creating space to slow down, feel, and realign with yourself on every layer. It’s yoga that honors the body as a source of wisdom, not a project to fix. Wednesday nights with Bridget are donation-based ($5 - $20 suggested). This is our commitment to putting community first! By making quality yoga teachers accessible to everyone in Boulder. Classes start January 10th. Bridget’s wed class is on the schedule. 🔗 [link to bio]
