Our ‘Imperial Stack’ Touched up, refined, and ready for rent. This system is our take on many classic NYC club systems (praise to RLA and GSA): the designs that shaped our introduction and approach to music, the dance floor, and sound. This is our primary system now, and we’re excited to bring it out to the streets. @soundagency41 hessbh subs handling the lows, @decware ‘s take on the Jensen Imperials in the midrange, and JBL 2446H on the 2395 lenses with JBL 2402 tweeters for the upper frequencies. Excited for this new chapter. And shoutout to @the_iparch for providing the setting for its inauguration back in the fall.

System for ‘Landscapes of the Mind’ by our dear friend @leewalton . Designed and built in collaboration with @_moyasin_ June in Knoxville, TN, this special project finally came to life at the @beckculturalexchangecenter in a most meaningful debut. Proud and honored — thanks for the journey and inviting us in, Lee! 2x JBL 2226H / TAD 4001 + JBL 2360 “This immersive project is composed of three different complementary elements: a written book, vinyl record, and a custom high-fidelity sound system designed specifically to unlock the full sonic experience of the audio. Together these components explore the intersection of memory, emotion, and sound in a way that invites both personal reflection and collective resonance.” - @leewalton

⚠️⚠️new @_moyasin_ system⚠️⚠️ What a ride and privilege to lend a hand on this project from inception to installation. BSS fabricated his original dual 12” tractrix horn. Lows from 18” folded horn subwoofer based on Scott Hinson’s Neman Horn (fabricated by @jonblesshifi ) , highs coming out of a constant directivity horn with @audiohorn “M-shape throat” loading a 1.4” coaxial compression driver (with the help of @arielpadilla_ ). Now living at the new @stoneisland Paris flagship store designed in collaboration with @oma.eu

Our latest build, headed to Mexico soon. Designed in collaboration with @_moyasin_ , this speaker is the first to come out of our new studio. Build in progress: we put these Imperials together to bring out to the @humanheadnyc 11 year anniversary. Still have some work to be done on them but will be complete for future rentals soon. And a big thank you to @jonblesshifi for letting us borrow his w-bins!

We’ve kept this news close for a bit too long, but to say we’ve been preoccupied wouldn’t begin to tell this story. Our new shop and headquarters are running, we spent the last year building it ourselves, fine tuning it, and breaking it in. We’ve got some work from this span that we’re excited to share, but more importantly: we’re finally open for business again. Here’s some images from the build, a bit of insight into our project.
