self-portrait, 2026
After answering a DM process related question, someone suggested I share this as a post instead of an IG story. Self-portraits are a useful tool for exploring creative themes and reinforcing technical skills. A self-portrait session can also become a very healthy serving of humble pie. The goofy outtakes and misfires are pure comedy; it took me 155 frames to get a shot where pose, posture and focus were good enough to share. Mayyyyybe one other shot from that set works, I don’t know - I tend to lose interest in culling and editing and not revisit a session until many days later. In the meantime…

So many core memories at the movies (and this theater in particular). Perhaps the end of an era for the grand old movie house, but life must go on…. 🍿🎥
William Davidson Sports Park // Detroit, MI 2026
This is the dopest basketball court in a city with the country’s best river walk. Oh, and random: chefs kiss to the designer of this court for perfectly aligning the Detroit Pistons text (look closely) parallel to the sidewalk - something you’d only see from above. 🤌🏾
