Tomorrow in Los Angeles launching ‘COMMON GROUND’ an exhibition featuring artists Mark Leckey, Martine Syms, Lloyd Foster, Walid Labri, Efe and Hassan Rahim in collaboration with Dries Van Noten.
An exhibition I curated challenging the concept of home, putting together work of artists seeking to understand how safety, shelter, and belonging shapes our deepest sense of self.
Very humbled and grateful to my beloved friends for allowing me to showcase and premier some of their work. And for those whom I didn’t know but were willing to trust I’d handle their art with the utmost care.
Opening reception, November 9th, 5:00pm to 8:00pm
451 N. La Cienega Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048

5000km, 7 countries, 1 car crash, 2 lightskin hearts broken, too many attempts to push it to 250km/h, countless hours of sleep while ‘co-piloting’ (yea that’s liam), about 1.5 book pages read during the entire trip, amount of regrets absolutely 0.
being unproblematic and happy is indeed the biggest of the flex.
