Thank you to our 135+ merchants and partners who joined us at our second Thrive event in APAC – this time in my hometown, Hong Kong! 🇭🇰
We were privileged to host leaders from Asia’s largest companies including Octopus, JD.com, Xiaomi, Tencent, and Ant Financial. Together, we learned about their priorities and shared our plans for global expansion, payment performance, and agentic commerce.
One of our goals at @checkout_com is to make payments seamless. Thank you to our merchants and partners giving us a chance 6.5 years ago when we started here and for the continued trust and partnership to grow together.
In 2025, our APAC business:
📈 +71% YoY in processing volume
✅ +50% YoY in net revenue for the 3rd consecutive year
📍 +2 new offices in Tokyo and Sydney (in addition to HK, Shanghai, and Singapore)
APAC’s growth contributed to a 30% increase in global net revenue, after we processed over $300 billion in volume – helping us return to full-year EBITDA profitability in 2025.

Now, he’s disrupted the game again with IM8, an all-in-one nutritional supplement (90 ingredients) co-founded with David Beckham, generating $120m USD in ARR within the first year 🚀 Thank you for mixing my very first IM8 drink!

And for the longest time (years!), I was pronouncing this iconic name/brand with 125+ years of heritage incorrectly. A full circle moment when I shared this story (and laughs) with Edoardo, one of the co-CEOs of Zegna and the 4th generation of the Zegna family 😂
