Good Gary slowly inches towards the weekend and he decided to stop by
@brewjeriacompany to pass the time.
GG started with the Sumo Libre, a Japanese rice lager. It was crisp, refreshing, malty, sweet, lightly boozy, fruity, and it finished with a light bitter breadiness. It’s been over a year since the last time GG had this beer and it was stronger than he remember. This is not your typical JRL. It drank stronger than the 5.5%. However, the flavors were wonderful, it was almost wine-like. It was a quality and unique beer.
Second beer was the El Enchufe, a Belgian witbier. It was smooth, malty, yeasty, funky, fruity, floral, and it ends with boozy banana breadiness. First off, GG loves the name of the beer. As for the beer itself, it was a delicious beer. This beer was 7.7%, so a little above where GG likes to hang around. The booziness came out in the back end, GG could feel it come out of his nostrils.
Last beer was the Tren al Sur, a west coast IPA. GG thought this was a wonderful name, a nod to a song that’s been a banger all his life. The beer was crisp, refreshing, malty, hoppy, tropical, citrusy, fruity, piney, and it finishes with a bitter light breadiness. This beer was more than worthy of the name. It was a fantastic beer.
Good Gary was happy to come in to Brewjeria on this Thursday night. He was pleased with the new beers on the menu. All his beers hit the spot that GG was aiming to satisfy. Thankfully they’re open late on a Thursday. Plus they’re the closest brewery for GG to get to. Hopefully he’s back soon and there’s more newbies on tap.
