Winter I saw my oldest friends and made some new ones. Did a successful work in progress show at Bristol comedy festival. Reached purple belt in Brazilian jujitsu. Got to play some nice rooms. All good.

A late Comedy 2025 wrap. I had my best work rejected by some influential gate keepers to progression, but also I performed some of my biggest and best professional gigs I've ever done. With comedy there is a constant feeling of stagnation, and previously being brutally honest, sometimes exclusion. I have to remind myself I get paid money to say amusing sentences, in beautiful some rooms alongside acts I really respect. If teen-age me could see the side quests I'm doing he'd lose his shit.

Proof of life. I took a social media break where I got an ADHD diagnosis, a double undercut and got given an air fryer. Millennial checkpoints completed.

Autumn is over. The writing and fighting hibernation begins. Winter well, I'll see you on the other side.

Japan 2025 was a joy. No dissociation or amnesia this time. (If you've seen my rabbit Island material you know what I mean) I always felt a retrospective guilt of not fully enjoying a one in a lifetime trip in 2016. This time I had the best time with some of my favourite people. Japan is a beautiful country with the nicest people I have ever met. A high trust and highly respectful society, that I always felt comfortable in despite being a complete outsider. I'm going to continue learning the language and I'll keep going back to that awesome place. おもてなしありがとうございます #japan
