It's been absolutely lovely to get to know Victor in the last couple of years. This Montreal's gift to the Finnish breaking scene is not only a true legend at his craft but also an event organizer, DJ, photographer, breaking coach, community builder, and just an all around cool bro. 🥰 We are neighbors in our small Pajamäki community and have been bonding over fatherhood, the state of the performance arts, photography, music, and just life in general. ☺️❤️
I have wanted to photograph the man for a long time and last week we finally made it happen. We headed to the beautiful hill of Patterimäki right next to our homes and shot some portraits and action shots of Vicious doing his thing at the gorgeous spring sunset. About 3 years ago I would say.
I asked my students from @polydance.fi what if we have the last class outside bring a speaker and a Dance Floor. First they weren’t sure hahaha but then obviously what’s better than an outdoor session when the weather is getting nice.
With time it has become like a little tradition and we even have a live Dj now 🤓… But also cool how it has slightly grow,people from the dance community showed up too.
Special moments for sure 🙌🏽

Kids with power moves it’s a thing now.
But kids with a natural groove and a dynamic style
is very rare nowadays.
As a daily teacher I couldn’t be more proud.
In all my teaching years since 2008 I have never shown any preference between my students.
So everyone feels appreciated and welcomed.
It’s super important. It’s never about the teacher it’s about the kids trying to learn and belong.
But sometimes it’s good to highlight the hard work🫡 Not only he is an amazing dancer but super cool and respectful kid. In this clip you see the things I have been teaching him and also putting his own twist. And he won the jam like that.
So much more to come for him as he just turned 11.

Yesterday was special for me 😃
Been collecting beats for a year to one day possibly play them in some bar in Helsinki.
Soul Funk/NuGroove & Underground Hip-Hop
The Hip-Hop part was real cool because it’s rare to hear some of these artists in bars around Finland.
@griseldarecords / @freddiegibbs / @larryjunetfm / @themusalini / @bambambaklava / @bigl_139 and many more So I was really happy about the outcome and how people were straight chilling vibing having their drinks and so on.
I went from Serato to couple of Vinyls and one of them was from my bro’s album @plash1 ✨🙌🏽✨
Big shoutout to @pienbottleshop for the opportunity
Such a cool place in the city center if you don’t know about it I strongly recommend 😁
They even have some beers from Montreal 🥰
