The Ephemeral Memory Reflection — Episode One: Loango (The Past)
Loango, once a major slavery port located on the coast of the Republic of Congo, stands as a powerful reminder of Africa’s painful history. Between the 16th and 19th centuries, thousands of men, women, and children were taken from this shore and shipped across the Atlantic. Today, the site remains a symbol of memory and resilience, honoring those who endured unimaginable suffering.
