Family is the only place LOVE doesn’t need permission.
No matter how far I go in life, I will always represent where I’m from! The food, the music, the lifestyle the culture runs deep in my blood 🩸
In a world that’s always changing fast, family always stays!!!
I’m honored to share these photos I took of Mi Familia in the #DominicanRepublic 🇩🇴 instead of staying in punta Cana or any of the tourist areas, we stayed in #Santiago where my family is from un campo en Jacagua.
Seeing the house we spent our summers in, visiting our grandparents grave, and reconnecting with family members we haven’t seen in over 20 years was something money can’t buy! Priceless
I pray we made our grandparents proud on this trip coming together because when everything breaks, family holds what’s left and I pray we’re still holding onto what’s left of our family and keeping traditions alive.
My grandmother pushed out 14 children. All 14 with my grandfather, from The land, the acres & the bloodline they left behind as long as I’m alive I’ll continue to keep our last name alive! ❤️
