So late last week I was blessed to have some of you join me for a live session in London.
Playing old and new songs stripped back to their bones felt cathartic and necessary, even. This is Daniel, from my record Kōya. It’s a song about surrendering certainty, about choosing love despite the exhausting, relentless effort to keep us divided.
Like many right now, I’m carrying a heavy heart watching what’s unfolded back home in Australia this weekend. I don’t pretend that a song fixes anything. But it’s what I have to offer in this moment. If it can help somehow, someway to invite us to turn towards each other with compassion.

5 years ago today! My debut Kōya was released. So many incredible opportunities and people have entered my life since this music came out. I'm extremely grateful for every bit of it.
