Three podiums from our fourth @dakarrally and a stunning stage victory today by @sebloebofficiel and @fabianlurquin brings their tally to five stage wins this year, including the brutal 48 Hour Chrono stage in the heart of the Empty Quarter before the rest day.
We’ve pushed all we can with our @prodriveofficial Hunter through thick and thin against the might of Audi. We’re proud of what we’ve done and know we can win this rally in the future. Seb and Fabian had bad luck at times and good luck at other moments, particularly when a fellow Hunter came to their rescue yesterday when they thought they were out for good. In two hours we went from retirement, to back in the rally and now a podium spot with third place.
That’s the Dakar for you.
It’s been a blast, and no matter how late the nights are and how hard the work is, we did everything for our red car.

What a day it was out there for the penultimate stage of Dakar 2024. Seb and Fabian lost time early in the stage today after hitting a huge rock that damaged the front suspension meaning they had to wait for assistance.
However, Yungang Zi, in another Hunter, gave them parts to repair and continue on the stage towards the finish line across the big rocks and narrow tracks. Their spirit never wavered and they completed the stage, even though they had three punctures on the car at the finish as part of the five punctures in total over the day.
Their never give up attitude meant they remain with Bahrain Raid Xtreme in a potential top three position for Dakar 2024 that finishes tomorrow on the shores of the Red Sea.

Seb and Fabian have gained 7m 11secs on the overall lead of the Dakar today to now be 13m 22secs back of first place with two stages remaining.
They unfortunately suffered two punctures today over the very difficult rocky tracks but managed to cover the fast sections flat out and make up some time towards the finish.
With a big stage tomorrow of 450kms, we continue to push as hard as we can here at Bahrain Raid Xtreme for position on this epic rally.
We will never give up. 💪

4⃣ It’s super stage win number four for Seb and Fabian today as they win into AlUla and close the gap on the overall lead of Dakar 2024.
Even with two punctures over the rough terrain, they took the stage by 4m 14 seconds as they keep the pressure on in their Prodrive Hunter.
There’s still 1,026 kilometres remaining on the rally with some terribly difficult stages still on the horizon so we’ll push all we can towards our goal come Friday.
