Twenty years ago, I met a young girl named Ileana who — despite her circumstances of growing up in a trash dump in Nicaragua — radiated warmth, joy, and compassion through her laughter and "lightning smile."
Today, our award-winning documentary film “Ileana’s Smile” tells her tragic and beautiful story, raising awareness for vulnerable children and raising funds to expand Ileana’s School of Hope.
