Mud, sweat, and tears. Feeling immense gratitude thinking back on this past weekend. It takes a village to pull something like Body Language off. Without the community that’s been built from the ground up, the vision can’t come to fruition. We have created something special, and to be proud of. Parties like that will be something we’ll look back on fondly for many years to come, when our youthfulness is long gone. Not many people knew, but less than 48 hours before things kicked off, we thought we were going to have to cancel the entire thing due elements outside of our control. Somehow, someway, things shifted in our favour - maybe because Body Language was meant to happen. Thank you to the countless volunteers for putting in hours to make the party operate, the wellness crew for making people feel comfortable and safe, Jake for being such an incredible host, Cam for designing and installing an incredible art piece that was suspended above the dance floor, Chris and Alex for the sound system and tech (also Alex for the last minute lighting tech), the many friends who pitched in with last minute favours to deal with the adversity thrown our way over the weekend, the DJs and artists for providing world-class sets, Maïka and Dym for filming the perfect moments, and most importantly to each and every person who came and danced their heart out to the very end. BL4 was one for the books.

Draaimolen B sides Hadn’t revisited my photos and videos from this weekend in September in quite some time. Smiled ear to ear while reminiscing about the memories. 2022 was such an incredible year for so many personal reasons. One of which was taking the opportunity to see some of the worlds best electronic artists and many of my absolute favourites. There’s just too many to name.
