this is truly my favorite thing I’ve ever done and I want to thank @samsmith for giving me so much of their time to chat about exploring their queerness through fashion and for being so vulnerable in a room full of people with a camera pointed in their face. it was one of those rare interviews where I didn’t need to keep referencing my notes and got to have a true conversation that ended up being incredibly emotional for everyone (truly not a dry eye in the house).
as someone who is ALSO been very much linked to suits and has felt confined by them — though on a much smaller world stage lmao — it was such a joy to hear Sam find their way back to suits on their own terms. the parallels were paralelling
