New Brunswick was proudly represented at the U17/U19 & U23 National Championships by two of our most experienced Officials — Kelly Blanchard and Ed Blanchard. Kelly has now officiated close to 10 Nationals, while Ed has surpassed 50, bringing years of knowledge and leadership to every event they attend. We also want to extend a sincere thank you to all of the Officials who were onsite at Nationals. Your professionalism, dedication, and commitment to boxer safety are what make these National championships possible. Across the country, Canada’s Amateur Boxing Officials play a vital role in ensuring that all sanctioned boxing events — including those here in New Brunswick — run safely, smoothly, and with the highest level of integrity. Every Team Member stepped into the ring and showed the country exactly what our small but mighty province is made of 💪🥊 🥇 Suri Pafford – U19 60kg GOLD Medalist 🥈 Habib Hassani – U23 65kg SILVER Medalist A huge shoutout to Team NB members Jacob Vienneau and Omar Nasser, who proudly represented New Brunswick on the national stage. It was a great night of sparring at the famous F.I.S.T.S. Boxing Gym in Moncton, NB. Boxers from Team SJGG and Team FISTS working together for upcoming bouts. The session focused primarily on Team NB boxers preparing for the upcoming U17 / U19 / U23 Nationals in Calgary. With just two weeks to go, it’s fair to say these athletes are ready to put their hard work on display. 🥊Sharp rounds. 🔥High intensity. 🧠Championship mindset.
