Last night was special. I thought it was going to be a quiet chicken wing night with Delores, but Team SJGG, led by Curtis Burley, had something else planned.
They organized an incredible surprise gathering for me. No, it wasn’t my birthday. They just truly appreciate their coach.
When the cheers erupted from the table, that’s when it hit me… “They did this for me?” Wow.
The team treated me to a lovely meal and gave me beautiful handwritten messages inside what must be the world’s biggest card. Honestly, it meant a lot.
I’m blessed to have a crew like this. Thank you, team. It truly felt amazing to be appreciated.

Family is my foundation. Over 27 years ago, my mom, Cindy Blanchard, and my cousin Marie Graham were in that same arena for my boxing debut. This was their first show back since—and they jumped right in like no time had passed, helping sell our 50/50.
My nephews were amazing as glove runners, and my sister Kelly Blanchard was, as always, incredible on the judging panel.
From then to now… full circle.

Started the day off right. High-level rounds with my SJGG boxers Suri Pafford 60kg U19 and Jacob Vienneau 66kg U17. Later, they'll wrap up this stormy Saturday with their indoor track session. Both are gearing up to represent Team NB at the Canadian National Championships in Calgary.

It was a great night of sparring at the famous F.I.S.T.S. Boxing Gym in Moncton, NB. Boxers from Team SJGG and Team FISTS working together for upcoming bouts.
The session focused primarily on Team NB boxers preparing for the upcoming U17 / U19 / U23 Nationals in Calgary. With just two weeks to go, it’s fair to say these athletes are ready to put their hard work on display.
