There’s a lot more going on here than just riding through a tight rock section. This process started with me learning how to truly trust and control my Bowhead through technical terrain. Learning body position, throttle control, wheel placement, braking, momentum, and how to stay calm when things get awkward and tight. Then came introducing George into the mix. That meant teaching him to trust me completely while also learning how to move smoothly beside the bike without pulling me over, getting tangled in the wheels, or putting himself in a bad position. Every step of this took repetition, patience, communication, and a whole lot of trial and error from both of us. Honestly, it’s been one of the most gratifying experiences I’ve ever had with a dog. Watching George grow into this role and seeing how connected we’ve become as a team has made me incredibly proud. We’ve both come a long way. 📸-> @caitciccone

🎉We are excited to announce one of the Foundation’s first adaptive adventures, where we will be taking five individuals who have recently experienced life-changing trauma on a cycling expedition along the beautiful Danube River. Starting in Passau, Germany, and finishing 330km later in the historic city of Vienna, Austria, this promises to be an unforgettable journey. Thanks to our partners, Jimmy’s and P&G, we are now looking for our first five beneficiaries to join us on this epic adventure. If you, or someone you know, would be interested in taking part, drop us a DM to find out more. #redefiningimpossible #adaptiveadventure #adaptive #disability #charity

Some clips from last week’s ride. The first section was super mellow, no pressure, just rolling through nature. The second section turned into a bit of a game trying to figure out where the trail was, but it was fun nonetheless. The third section had the best views, but the hairpin turns and switchbacks made it my least favorite. The fourth section was the most fun, technical enough to be a little bit of a challenge but much more flowy with less exposure. All in all, it was a fun day with some great trails. Can’t wait to get out and explore more.

Got to use the Nano on a recent trip to Italy and I flipping loved what it could do. Especially the confidence it gave me as I checked into different hotels on the trip. Honest little review of an awesome little product - not a paid ad or anything like that. Just think it’s well good - thanks for the borrow @bowhead

Coming out of some of those turns like butter melting off a hot biscuit… @utahgravelseries Wild Horse Gravel is a hard race in any format but the 92 mile super stallion version was fast fun and hard. I got out fast, took the less dusty drafts and found myself leading the race at mile 4 (literally very front)- just before inevitably being dropped on the climb 🤷🏼‍♂️. Ben caught and passed me up the climb but I kept him in sight, then reeled him in and drafted for a few miles before putting some distance between us. First place for me in para on the day - finishing in 5:53 - about 1 hour after the fast boys and P15 overall. Thanks to @nationalabilitycenter for the support, @kris_braun for the photos and @kelsey_snocone for everything else in the world. And @bowheadcorp for producing this sweeeet bike.
