Lemon gingham apron 🍋
I recently made this apron for @jessiee.jane birthday as she is an amazing cook and I thought she should have something cute to wear whilst being a domestic goddess. I chose the yellow gingham as I was inspired by an amazing lemon meringue pie she recently baked.
It was my first time making an apron, but really happy with how it turned out. I love the voluminous ruffles and large bow tie at the back 🎀

Shell bag 🐚
I used the leftover fabric from the ivory sailor hat to make a matching handbag. Now, it’s the perfect seaside accessory set!
It’s lined with some satin I had in storage and I found the cute pearl clasp when picking up a zip at the fabric store.
I really love the shell shape so might make another version, but add a zip this time and use a different style of fabric.

Goth sailor hat 🖤
Off to its new home today! I had fun making my second sailor hat and found the process so much quicker this time. I used some nice thick black cotton shorts I found at the opshop. Onto my next hat…🐆

I was getting obsessed with all the cute little sailor hats on my pinterest feed, and decided to have a go at making my own. I used @ja_academy_ pattern and a gorgeous silk ivory top I found at the opshop. Very happy with how it turned out!

My little tiki set 🌺🪡
I forgot I had this Alfred Shaheen tiki shirt sitting in my sewing pile. I had bought it for an ex because I loved the print, but it was too small. I decided to turn it into a cute outfit I could wear for summer.
