One final post to highlight the massive “hidden” fridge/freezer from @subzeroandwolf and the bread box/storage we shoehorned into this acute corner, leaving not a mm of wall space. It really makes this custom kitchen feel truly built into the space! #keepcraftalive🔨📐 #customcabinetry #cabinetmaker #designbuild #whiteoak #custommillwork #woodworking #customwoodworking

Double ovens, full height fridge and freezer, and a ton of storage. Besides the upper wall cabinets, there isn’t a single cab that doesn’t have pull out trays or tricky corner storage solutions. The space might be a little tight, but we optimized every square inch of this kitchen to include super functional storage! #keepcraftalive🔨📐 #customcabinetry #cabinetmaker #designbuild #whiteoak #custommillwork #woodworking #customwoodworking

Custom grain matched white oak veneer kitchen we did for a Michigan client’s condo they purchased in Siesta Key, FL. It was a lot to take on such a custom job out of state, but it went relatively smooth. Aside from one cabinet being the wrong size, it was a success 🤫 😆 #keepcraftalive🔨📐 #customcabinetry #cabinetmaker #designbuild #whiteoak #custommillwork #woodworking #customwoodworking

Over many years a ton of skilled hands made what you see in this photo possible. From the coffered ceiling and glazed tile work of the original structure, the effortlessly floating wine rack and precisely leveled foot rail by @deependstudio , to our fluted columns and 40’ long bar faced with solid white oak, adorned with reclaimed marble from right here in Detroit by @woodwardthrowbacks ; this scene provides a pleasant longitudinal experience for one to enjoy a glass of incredible hand selected wine. 🙌 #keepcraftalive 🔨 📐 Architect: @slowtide.studio_architects Designer: @anahihollisdesign #custommillwork #woodworking

Although many of you have probably already sat here, I finally got down to @ladder4winebar with the camera to snap some finished photos. We did a number of things here, but the main event is certainly the banquette seating and columns that tie into the coffered ceiling. Color matching the existing woodwork and its patina was a multi-stage process, and I just love how it all comes together. The booths provide a cozy intimate setting, while the long wall banquette gives you great perspective of the whole space. This project unfolded throughout the pandemic and all trades on board worked hard together to bring to life what you see today. Very proud of this one! 1 year later and the @festool_usa KSC 60 still makes it to each of our jobsites. Compact, smooth, and insanely accurate, it’s our go to for finish trim work and detail cuts. #custommillwork #finishcarpentry #festool #ksc60 #customwoodworking #keepcraftalive #customcabinetry #woodworking #interiordesign #architecture #moderncraftsman #designbuild

A banquette fit for a Bond villain 😎 This international private client wanted seating for his “garage” that would jive with his car collection and other fine finishes, we are stoked with how well this fit in! And yes, for coolness sake I’m hyping up a piece sent across the boarder as international 🌎 Upholstery by @tomscustomupholsterytroy_mi #custombanquette #banquette #custommillwork #interiordesign #customwoodworking #keepcraftalive

Custom credenza for a Birmingham residence, inspired by a piece that our customer saw while traveling in Mexico. We were able to create a hand carved look using our @shopsabre cnc with a ball nose bit and some tricky programming! Couldn’t be more pleased with the result 😎 #bournebuildingco #keepcraftalive #customwoodworking #woodworking #credenza #customfurniture #cncwoodworking #finefurniture #furnituremaker #cnc

After some months of having the chance to put our KSC 60 miter saw to the test in a variety of applications and jobs, Our Product Tester winners provided us with snapshots of their work, insight into their thoughts and feedback, and we are so excited to finally be able share their stories over the next few months! Each week we will be highlighting our Product tester with our online community, starting off with Logan Bourne of @bournebuildingco ! Logan is a fine finish woodworker focused on custom millwork, cabinetry and furniture, carpentry and restoration hailing from Michigan! Logan and his team put the KSC to the test using it for Millwork, in the shop on various products and onsite doing finish carpentry for a commercial retail storefront. After some months he concludes: “This saw couldn’t have come at a better time. I was tired of lugging our 12” around, and find our 10” to also be too much saw for what we do. Most of our work is performed in shop on larger machines, and we only need to cut trim, some base, toe kick, and other millwork elements on site. So having an extremely accurate saw that is lightweight and portable, and provides great dust collection is paramount for us. This is the saw that will come out 99% of the time, until we need the bigger capacity. Runtime is a little disappointing, but another set of batteries solves that issue rather easily.” Thanks so much for sharing! We are so thankful for Logan and all our test users for working with us, we always strive to build better, and great feedback and support like this help us build even better, together. Make sure to check out Logan and his team’s awesome work! To learn more about our KSC 60, hit the link in our bio! #festoolusa #festoolme #festoolbuiltbettertogether
