@akua_b_ returns to the room. One of the key voices of NY’s techno renaissance, Akua takes a distinctly afro-futuristic approach. Her sets explode with tightly coiled percussive maximalism and a taut psychedelia that draws direct inspiration from the lineage of Robert Hood and mid-’90s Jeff Mills.
