الأحداث بتدور داخل مصنع أقمشة حيث الاهتمام بالمنسوجات وسط ضجيج الماكينات، واللي بنشوف فيه إزاي الملل بيطلق شرارة اللعب عبر تحول صوت متكرر لنبض يعزف المصنع من خلاله إيقاعه الخاص.
وبالتالي، مش مفاجأة إن زينب بودة تفوز بالجايزة لأن تصميمها بيحول أصوات الماكينات اليومية لحركة، وبيبني إيقاع بينتقل بالبطلة «لولي» — وإحنا معاها — من الروتين إلى العجايب.

🔉 Third up in this year’s spotlights is the 2025 Outstanding Sound Design, Fiction Award: ‘Louli’s Adventure in the Factory of Wonder’ by Mark Ayman.
Set inside a textile mill where machines clatter and fabrics matter, the film watches boredom spark into play — a repeated noise becomes a pulse, and the factory begins to play back its own rhythm.
It’s no surprise Zeinab Boudah took home the award: her sound design turns everyday machinery into movement, building a beat that carries the title character — and us — from routine into wonder.

So grateful and happy for the opportunity to be inspired by talented and motivated musicians and artists
I’m grateful and thankful to share that I received the Valorie Farag music award, Manassat outstanding sound design award, completed my graduation project on capturing the takht, and was a part of a wonderful sound and image film restoration program.
The real win to me is getting to do what I love everyday, crossing paths with talented and passionate people, but seeing a sprout of recognition is nice every now and then💗
My path is unclear, constantly filled with doubt and questioning my choices; keeping myself, ego and motives in check; staying open, kind, understanding, and resilient. It’s wonderful and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’m above all grateful for all the lovely mentors that kept me sane and truly believed in me, I couldn’t have done it without their guidance, support, trust and generosity with their time and effort.

One year ago today, me and two of my friends shot this spontaneous and fun to make short film.
