Had a blast designing the DJ booth for @princeofqueens_nyc @deejaytheory & @morelove.intl last night✨🪷 the vibes were high! Thanks for the invitation @secretplanetnoho and for allowing me to do my thing with plants! Big shout out to @pure_life_studios for pushing through with me to make this installation happen! Couldn’t have done it without you 😘 I caught a couple folks planting their faces in the grasses and flowers last night having a sensory experience with the olfactory nature of the booth and with the music. It was sweet. I want to see more of that! So it got me thinking… maybe I should do this again but with a variety of aromatic herbs and plants that are really texturally intriguing…. 🤔 Perhaps an idea for the House of Flora event coming up (link in bio) 🤔 if you don’t know about it, check it out. There will be plant installations amongst many other amazing offerings🪷 Plants are great. All the people last night were fantastic. Beautiful times. Let’s have more.

Flora & Fromage Deux: our second annual botanical art experience & cheese lounge soirée 🌿🧀 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at @montagueretreatcenter ! We were so delighted to host a new kind of experience… One that celebrates beauty and truly tickles the senses. Gratitude to Wheelhouse Catering for their incredible culinary magic, and to all the talented artists who reminded us of the rich beauty of the world of Flora, and how it can be transformed into unique, nature-inspired art. Special thanks to Rusty for holding down every detail with me. Hosting an event of this scale isn’t easy, but you made the process so enjoyable. And a huge shoutout to Hannah for co-designing the magic! From the fabulous bread work to the first tablescape, and collaborating on the natural landscapes on the dance floor and stage, she was a true champion in bringing vision to life. We hope everyone left feeling inspired and ready to embrace spring after a long winter! I will forever love this moss living room that I made Flora & Fromage last year. The furniture and grass scape was created by me. The backdrop was created by the lovely architectural gardener/landscaper @sophieisobelsophie 🫶 What a vision when the pieces came together! It’s like Shrek’s artsy uncle’s living room. We’re just missing some eye ball martinis. 🍸

Thank you @seshnevents for inviting me on to create landscapes for this event at @bignightlive ! This was a cannabis based event, therefore, I went sub-tropical whimsy on these installs. In my planning, I wanted to features some flowers that are just absolutely mind boggling in their shapes and textures for any folks who got a little blazed for this event… give them something a little weird and wild to gaze upon💨 There were sculptural gloriosas, red imperial fritillaries with their inverted look and curvy stems, those curly orange anther anthuriums, and all the yellow you see are clusters of miniature orchids! This was fun. I love doing stage work and I love collaborating with musicians in this way. And I particularly loved @chali_2na ’s set! I just started listening to his music. Now I have his music on repeat in my head. He’s a whole vibe. Great voice, really positive, good energy. And finally, a big shoutout to my man who supported the whole process of design @pure_life_studios . He was with me every step of the way and made the process so much more enjoyable. Mossification. What a fun night. There was moss, there were our hands in that moss, and some video woke by @where_is_fab with some incredible forest shots which he then took and transitioned into surrealist vintage sci-fi. Totally out of left field but we loved it. We also had some amazing music by Trusty Rusty. He was absolutely getting down that night, and so was the dance floor. Bubbles flying, giggles, and some good hat spinning. Dan Thomas also made an guest appearance on guitar and even the banjo at one point 🪕! We also had some moss and floral sculptures by @botanicoco__ to set the mood of course. We also can’t forget about the tea bar and the delicious treats we had that night — hot toddies, rose and beal honey blended tea, berry tart, lemon bars, and key lime pie. A lovely evening to warm our souls with music, moss, goodies and excellent people to spend it with. 🫶 📸 @danlittlephoto Lots more of this please! Thank you to everyone who came out!
