The Magic Lab, Boston's open mic-style magic show, is BACK for season 7 -- along with a trailer (filmed and edited by the incredible @honeyzoomedia ) that shows what we're about:

Our first show of the season is Friday, October 10th at our new venue: @cambridgefoundry

Deanna Congo
Deanna has done magic from coast to coast for the last 20 years. She has a YouTube channel with over 150 magic videos for your entertainment and is now based on Massachusetts where she is expanding her skills as a magician and performer.

Introducing Performer 4 of 5:
Felice Ling
For over a decade, Felice Ling has popped up on streets around the world. This occasionally international street performer has been seen at Faneuil Hall, Harvard Square, and fringe festivals from Edinburgh to Adelaide. She was a finalist at the Inaugural FISM World Championship of Street Magic in 2025.
Off the street, she is the owner of the Boston Magic Lab and a performer honing her parlor and close-up magic. She has taken her creative – and awkward – performing style to the Chicago Magic Lounge, and to theaters, cabarets, and conventions throughout the US.

Joel Acevedo
Joel Acevedo was a kid when he fell in love with magic. During later years, Joel combined his studies in Computer Engineering with magic performances for individuals and corporations such as IBM, Oracle, and Liberty Mutual.
He is both a student and teacher of magic; he's been involved with the magic school La Gran Escuela de la Magia in Madrid, Spain, and Jeff McBride's Mystery School in Las Vegas. In addition to his private engagements, he is the producer and co-star of one of Boston's highest rated shows: Four-Handed Illusions: An Intimate Evening of Laughs and Wonder.

Jonas Cohen
Jonas is a mentalist who has been called “awe-inspiring” by the CEO of the Boston Globe, “unbelievable” by countless VIPs, and "just so handsome" by his own mother. He's mesmerized audiences at corporate events, private parties, and theaters across New England. He doesn't perform for you — he performs with you, creating moments you'll be talking about long after tonight.

Tarek Zawi
Tarek is a Texas native who moved to Boston a few years ago. He has been a student of magic since a young age and loves performing both close up and on stage. He performs regularly at corporate events, weddings, and more.

Magic Zach
Magic Zach is a street performer, an emerging creator in the magic community, and The Boston Magic Lab's resident graphic designer. He's also one of our founding members and holds within his soul the experimental ethos of the Lab. He somehow often ends up MCing the final Lab of the season -- and we can't wait to see what he's got planned for this show.

April's Magic Lab has come and gone... And it was particularly CHAOTIC. Check out these photos from the show, which featured everything from dangerous clowns to jars of fingers, to a leaf blower loaded with toilet paper!!
