Part 2 of my 15 years sobriety story.
When I stopped drinking at 21,
it wasn’t just about alcohol.
It was about facing fear.
And quiet shame.
Fear of being different.
Fear of missing out.
Shame of not fitting into a culture
where drinking was normal.
But something shifted when I redirected that energy.
Instead of forcing myself to belong,
I changed my environment.
My circles.
My life direction.
And that’s when I realised. When you stop feeding fear and shame,
you create space for growth, discipline, and self-respect.
Sometimes the soft life begins
