LE DIABLE DANS LA NUIT ❤️ OUT NOW ON ALL DIGITAL PLATFORMS 🤍 Those who have known me for a while must know that I've been working on this project for quite a long time now: back in Amsterdam, together with @elizaveta_agrafenina we initiated the @bosmansbeyond ensemble (I promise I'll update that IG account 😅) as early as 2020, right in the middle of COVID, with the initial intent of recording a CD. Back in 2019 I also started my @missing.voices initiative, aimed at promoting the lives and works of persecuted Jewish composers during WWII, and little did I know back then that it would lead now to so many projects, concerts, and recordings. After a series of unfortunate setbacks and adventures (especially with non-serious labels), a couple of years ago I was really glad that @editionshortus fully embraced this idea and combined both projects, including the Bosmans CD into a new collection dedicated to persecuted composers, that I'm co-curating together with @forum_voix_etouffees We invited our friend @sarah_bayens to be a part of this with us, and she enthusiastically recorded Bosmans' beautiful Violin Sonata, in addition to a wonderful selection of 7 songs curated by Elizaveta (in Dutch, French and English) and the 6 Preludes for piano by yours truly. We cannot be more grateful for all the support we have received for this truly long-term project and are so excited to share with you our music ❤️ Go check the album on your favourite digital platform! We are very happy to welcome violinist @sarah_bayens to the Bosmans & Beyond family ! 💙🎉🎼🎻💃 Born in Belgium in 2000, Sarah is a very versatile musician. She has performed as a soloist with orchestras, and was also a member of the Youth Belgian Strings as well as the concertmaster of the Youth Flanders Orchestra. Regularly performing chamber music, she formed the @susatotrio in Belgium. Sarah notably won in 2019 the Young Belgian Talent Competition and is pursuing her studies at the @conservatoireroyaldebruxelles .
