Many thanks to Trent, Sammy, Harry, and John for the partnership and opportunity. So stoked how these came out.
Inspired by a show I saw last year at the Tokyo Moma about the influence of Dogu (clay figures) from ancient Japanese arts on mid century modern artists.
Had the great fortune of being sent to Bangalore India for a work trip over the last 2 weeks with the Nike Kids team. I’ve dreamed of going to India my whole life, so it was a thrill to be able to squeeze in some cultural experiences despite being there for work with a pretty packed schedule. Major thanks to our hosts. @yogesh_sood1234 🤝 for showing us an amazing time. Feeling very grateful for the experience and hope to return one day for more extensive nature time and exploration.

Super excited to see this series come to market as part of the holiday 25 range. I’ve been a huge fan of @palaceskateboards since it’s started. The “basically a” logo has been used across many of their products, but surprisingly not on boards. I mocked them up for fun, which led me to think of flipping the format into each team riders name along with colors that spoke to their heritage. Huge thanks to Rob, Dom, and of course Lev for the opportunity. Cheers 🍻

Inspired by the Nike TN’s connection to rave/ club culture. I went analog and used a word mark on printer paper and just pushed it around while scanning it to create this semi organic warp on the typography.
