RJ’s 94mm Turbo LS CTSV
Spring is in the air and race season is working its way north. RJ just fired up his 427ci single-turbo LS in preparation of Dyno Day for his Cadillac CTSV at @Cutaway Creations Racing. His long block is almost identical to that of the twin turbo Firebird in the previous video, the difference being Dyers versus Callies Ultra Enforcer rods. Other key parts include the Dart LS Next SHP Pro block, Callies Magnum crank, custom Diamond pistons, COMP hydraulic roller cam and shaft rockers, Manton pushrods and All Pro heads secured with P1 studs.
RJ’s top end is from his old 5.3 LS which includes the massive 94mm Garrett turbo. His Holley Dominator provides engine management.
Our Tim Zapp will be collaborating with Cutaway’s John McGhee on the tune. We will keep you posted.

Our GM Tim Zapp joined Nick and the gang at Streetcar Shenanigans Performance for a tuning session on their hub dyno. The Firebird’s drivetrain features a 4L80 transmission and a Borowski 427 cubic inch hydraulic roller LS with all the usual good stuff. Dart SHP Pro block, Callies Magnum crank & Ultra Enforcer rods, Diamond pistons, COMP hydraulic roller cam, BSR shaft rockers and All Pro heads. It is crowned by our custom billet intake manifold and boosted by twin Bullseye 83mm NLX turbos and is run by an Emtron ECU.
We were told that the old record for this dyno was 1,565 horse. It looks like we blew that away! Better get the traction control working. Great job Nick!
